Fairway Foodservice reveals new items to its extensive range of products

The new products, which include six curries such as lamb rogan josh and vegetable tikka, will help Fairway Foodservice customers meet the latest trends in the foodservice industry.

The 17-member group voted to add the curries, as well as gluten-free sausages, a Mediterranean vegetable quiche, which will be placed under its Classic’s brand, and side dishes including jalapeno mozzarella sticks and mac n cheese bites at its meet the member event.

Three new seafood products have also been launched, with purchasing manager Keith Hepton approving the additions of sweet chilli marinated salmon skewers, garden mint salmon portion, and sweet chilli & lime skinless salmon portion.

Keith said: “These additions further improve the range of quality products available to our members at a competitive price.

“All products were given the taste test to ensure they matched or were better than the market leader. Our members voted these in, as they believe the additions can help meet the demands and requirements of their customers.

“We’re incredibly proud of the variety of high-quality products in the range we can offer our members.”

Steve Jeavons, purchasing director, said: “We actively encourage and respond to member feedback. This means the range satisfies their needs and ensures they stay ahead of the curve. For example, the gluten-free sausages are a result of the members talking about the demand of their customers.

“Our expectations and standards go beyond both new products and the look and taste of the food.  This is evident with improvements to the packaging of existing products with benefits such as longer storage life, re-sealable containers, and portion control.”
