Fishtank Agency Unveils Revamped Digital Presence for BHP Chartered Accountants

Yorkshire-based digital marketing agency, Fishtank, has unveiled three new websites for Yorkshire and North Derbyshire’s largest independent firm of Chartered Accountants, BHP, as part of a brief to overhaul the company’s entire digital portfolio.

With origins dating back to 1867 and having undergone a number of mergers and acquisitions in recent years, Fishtank was appointed by BHP to develop a digital presence that was reflective of the dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that it is today.

Fishtank was tasked with revamping BHP’s suite of six digital platforms to create a cohesive and modern brand presence. Work is now complete on three of the six sites, including its main company website, its corporate finance division website and its cloud accounting, BHP Prosper website.

Fishtank has designed each website taking into account each divisions’ distinct personality, brand voice and point of difference in the marketplace, whilst aligning with the overall BHP brand guidelines.

BHP will support the launch of its new company site with an ad campaign that will further set them apart from the stereotypical view of accountants, communicating its forward-thinking approach and the dynamic nature of the business.

Clair Awty, Head of Marketing and Business Development from BHP Chartered Accountants said: “The team at Fishtank truly impressed us with their insight, creativity and strategic thinking to deliver three new websites which have great stand out in their own right, whilst sitting cohesively under the BHP brand.

“Their strategic vision for the project has cleverly married creative design and brand development, with a keen eye on functionality and performance, to deliver a results focused suite of websites we are extremely proud of.

“Fishtank worked as an extension of our team, quickly getting under the skin of our business and individual brands, and we are more than impressed with the results to date. With a further three sites due for completion in the coming months, our digital presence will truly align with our approach to business, communicating our point of difference in the accounting and finance space.

Damien Fisher, Managing Director at Fishtank: “We have been thrilled to work alongside BHP on this significant web development project. Each of the websites needed to sit together under the BHP umbrella, however every division has a unique audience, set of objectives, tone of voice and positioning which made this brief an exciting and challenging proposition.

“From the initial pitch process, we were inspired by BHP and how they do business and have been able to inject this personality into each of the websites to help them truly communicate their strengths.”

Founded in 2008, Fishtank is a leading digital marketing agency and web development studio with a global client base.
